Due to unforseen events the announced production of Forever Plaid will not be produced by StageRight TheaterCompany.  In its place we will be producing A Grand Night for Singing.

StageRight TheaterCompany proudly presents a concert of A Grand Night for Singing April 10, 11, 13, 16, 17 and 18. The curtain is at 7:30 p.m. The concert honors the music of Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. This production was conceived by Walter Bobbie with musical arrangements by Fred Wells. The show will play at the theater’s current location, The Village Green, 395 South State Street in Clearfield UT.  For tickets or additional information please call 801-272-3445. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and seniors/students receive a discount ticket of $7.00.  Musical Direction is by Nancy Parker Merrill and is Directed/Produced by Raelynn Potts.

A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING opened the 1994 Broadway season with flair and distinction, garnering wildly enthusiastic notices and a Tony nomination for Best Musical. Rodgers & Hammerstein probably never imagined "Shall We Dance?" as a comic pas de deux for a towering beauty and her diminutive admirer, nor did they suspect that one day a lovelorn young lad might pose the musical question "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?" But that's precisely the kind of invention lavished upon this new revue, with the innovative musical arrangements including a sultry Andrew Sisteresque "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out'a My Hair", swinging "Honeybun" worthy of the Moderaires, and a jazzy "Kansas City" which leaves no question about how terrifically up to date the remarkable songs of R&H remains. "A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING is enough to restore one's faith in the future of the revue and the durability of Rodgers & Hammerstein. It gives the material the kind of thoughtful rethinking it has long deserved." USA TODAY
