Do you think it is possible to tell an entire story without a spoken word? No, ladies and gents, not a dance show, and not a pantomime. But a full-length theater production without one, single spoken word? Then come see Innovation, April 29th, 30th, and May 1st.  The Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts was invited to perform this piece at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in the summer of 2009. After receiving great reviews, they were asked to perform it again at the Utah Theater Association Conference, as the all conference show; where it received two standing ovations. Innovation has been extremely well received and we are more than thrilled to be opening it to the public for a remount presentation. Additionally, Innovation is a show that deals with breast cancer. As a result, The Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts has decided to make the final performance night (May 1st) a fundraiser night for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The tickets will cost a little bit more, but they are going for a fantastic cause. Our goal is to ultimately get the word out enough to be able to hand the Huntsman Cancer Institute a large check. Their foundation means a lot to our school, seeing as how the piece is dedicated to different students and parents in the school who have been diagnosed with cancer.  Innovation is an extremely hilarious and moving piece that will keep you wanting more. Bring a friend and a loved one and come enjoy this show that will sure to keep you talking the whole car ride home.
