Attention all actors and techies!

You are invited to audition once again for the extremely dark, extremely satirical comedic web series entitled "Murder is Funny" on Tuesday, February 9th at the University of Utah Union Building, Parlor B, on the second floor from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

This will be a cold reading from the sides provided at the audition. We ask that you please provide a headshot and resume if you have them. See show description below...

Most of the main featured characters have already been cast, however there are numerous characters in subsequent episodes that will need to be filled, as well as various technical positions that need someone's expertise. All ages and all looks are asked to attend.

Specific Tech needed:
Assistant Director (essentially a Stage Manager to keep us on schedule)

Unfortunately, we cannot offer any compensation beyond copy and credit, but this is an exciting project and we are certain you will enjoy playing with this material; and in the end you will have something interesting to use for your reel.

WARNING: This material is Rated R at its worst and PG-13 at its very best. We don't ever SHOW anything crude on-camera, but we certainly SAY a lot that may offend those with fragile sensibilities. These scripts are not for the squeamish. Murder is Funny: a show about five "friends" living and working and generally making each other's lives miserable. Each episode has been written with a general rule in mind: one - or BOTH - of the two leading characters must die in any given episode.

Like a live-action cartoon, where one episode has nothing to do with another, each episode is guaranteed to offend someone you know, and possibly make them laugh at the same time.

Can't wait to see ya.
